Practising Certificates

Registered members of constituent bodies providing professional services direct to the public are required to hold practising certificates issued by the Board.

Professional services include all accountancy and accountancy related services such as tax consultancy, management accounting, management consultancy auditing and financial accounting.

The Board issues practising certificates only in response to applications received through the constituent body with which the accountant or auditor is registered. They are issued for life but may be withdrawn or suspended following disciplinary proceedings.
